Course Content

  • Critical concepts of high-quality CPR
  • The Chain of Survival
  • Differences between adult, child and infant rescue techniques
  • Bag-mask techniques for adult, child and infant
  • Rescue breathing for adult, child and infant
  • Relief of choking for adult, child and infant
  • CPR with an advanced airway
  • Recognise and treat the deteriorating patient using a structured ABCDE approach
  • Treat cardiac and/or respiratory arrest, including starting CPR, manual defibrillation, life threatening arrhythmias, and post resuscitation care
  • Care for the deteriorating patient or patient in cardiac and/or respiratory arrest in special circumstances such as anaphylaxis, and pregnancy

ECG & Cardiac Training (1 Day)
